My journey to becoming Director of Development for The Maria Group has been marked by perseverance and passion. Early in my career, I faced the formidable challenge of transitioning from a for-profit background into the nonprofit world despite having no prior experience in this sector. I initially grappled with earning respect and trust within the nonprofit community, given my lack of industry-specific knowledge. 

However, fueled by my desire to effect positive change and draw upon my background in sales and celebrity relations, I swiftly acquired the skills necessary to secure funding from high-profile individuals and major donors, resulting in a tangible and meaningful impact. Through diligent relationship-building efforts, the refinement of my communication skills, and the guidance of invaluable mentors, I consistently demonstrated my unyielding commitment to furthering the missions of nonprofit organizations. Over the past decade, I have undergone significant personal and professional growth, evolving into a proficient nonprofit executive, accomplished fundraiser, dedicated activist, and effective leader.

Looking ahead, my immediate goal is to identify a charitable organization dedicated to youth development. I’m passionate about making a meaningful impact in this area and believe it aligns perfectly with The Maria Group’s mission. In the long term, I envision our firm expanding its reach to empower even more nonprofits, addressing a diverse range of critical issues, including animal welfare, environmental conservation, education access, and support for the arts. I’m genuinely excited about the prospect of continued innovation, talent development, and collaboration with compassionate charities to create lasting change.
